A
protest was held at QinetiQ's head office in Farnborough.
We invited the top brass to come out and justify their tests, but unsurprisingly
they kept themselves hidden.
This site is huge. It is an entire industrial estate solely owned by QinetiQ,
and so people kept coming in and out, ensuring that we could inform staff
of their companies cruel diving tests on goats.
We told people about the Kursk disaster, which QinetiQ claim proves their
research works (all 118 crew members died), and we also told them about
one of their recent studies (dated 2004), which was looking at signs of
decompression sickness such as brain lasserations. Shockingly, we have
discovered that even the 'control' goats in this test ended up with brain
damage! This would appear to make any data from this study invalid.
The protests was loud, and the banners caught the attention of passing
motorists.
We will definately be revisiting this site.
