THE CAMPAIGN GETS OFF TO A GREAT START

17/08/06
To kick of our new campaign against QinetiQ's cruel and unscientific hyperbaric tests using goats, SARC held a protest outside of their Alverstoke lab.

8 protestors held a loud, visual demosntration, with banners, placards, airhorns, megaphones, a drum, whistles... etc!

Loads of motorists honked in support, and QinetiQ security looked aptly embarrased.

If you would like to help with this campaign, watch this space! We will soon be launching a website and leaflets, as well as holding regular demonstrations outside of the Fort Road site. Let us know if you would like to come along on the next protest!

It seems as though security is being tightened at the site, obviously they are embarrased by what they do, and it's now time to put the pressure on. We can and we will stop these experiments. The French Navy use non-animal methods, and despite claiming to have helped during the Kursk submarine accident, all crew members died. They can not point to one instance where their tests have helped anybody.

The highlight of the day was seeing the security guards face when he saw our placards bearing pictures of the 9 baby goats liberated from the site last month!
