The
campaign against QinetiQ continued with another demonstration outside
of QinetiQ's Alverstoke laboratory.
By total coincidence ... we arrived just as the workers thought it was
time to go home. It appears as though we are already starting to get
to them, as they all drove out with tape over their number plates, and
rather untasteful messages scrawled over them.
The afternoon was passed in the relaxed company of a friendly police
man, and at one oint we were given the opportunity of speaking directly
to a rather senior looking worker, as he left the site to get into a
friends car. We informed him of the need for QinetiQ to look for more
reliable forms of research so that they might actually be able to help
next time their is a disaster like the Kursk.
The glum looking security guard only seemed to look happy when we mentioned
people ying onboard the Kursk, which seemed a little odd! We waited
until he was stood looking lonely and forlorn amidst the crumbling wreck
that is QinetiQ's Alverstoke lab, and left for the day.
See you soon!
